Driving Test Doctors UK - The name says it all!
Intensive residential driving programmes within The Peak District National Park in and around The Lovely North Derbyshire.
All our driving courses are held on a one to one basis so as to maximize your learning ability. That means that there are no other learner-driver students overlooking your driving progress from the back seat of the car that is very common indeed with other schools offering this similar type of residential intensive service.
The driving course you enrol to will be tailor-made to suit your requirements. We are a very versatile driving school and believe that working together on a mutual basis is a very important part of the training syllabus.

No two driving programmes will be the same for two different students. We totally respect that all individual learners have varied and diverse requirements and therefore we endeavour to attend to such as much as possible.
The total length of the driving course will depend on your current driving status. A novice learner may require a full ten-day driving course broken into two parts that are very close together. While a more advanced student with some driving problems would maybe find a four-day programme quite satisfactory! Quite simply, you need to communicate with us and talk over your learner-driver situation so as to discuss a suitable time scale for completing the training syllabus fully and of course so as to conclude it successfully.
A typical module for the day would include around five hours of active instruction. During this period you will be covering all the requirements of the recommended training syllabus and tuition will also be focused on any apparent weakness.
At least one break period would be included so as to refresh yourself about half way through. And of course this short break will help greatly so as to chat about your progress. Additional breaks are acceptable by request or indeed if and so they are required! So, there is no mandatory schedule. In fact the pressure is off with DTD UK!

To complete the module for that day we will finally log your progress upon a personal chart. This orderly displayed table will help you see any faults that require special attention.
A mid-afternoon finish allows time to relax and contemplate your newly acquired driving skills. The Peak District offers some lovely tourist locations and places to visit and you are very well situated for seeing them!
